Not much is known about this first plane on floats Fokker build in 1913.

Fokker grounded a shipyard on the river Dahme, in the neighbourhood of Gronau where he build two versions, one with 70Hp and the other with 100Hp.

 

In the postcard left, Anthony writes to his parents that the first flight was very succesfull and that he could easily airborne with a passenger and some 60 kg of ballast on board.

Later this plane crashed on further tests and the second one, the W.2 just made a few flights before it was written off en dismantled.
